Airport Transfer to hotel in San Jose
At your arrival, Costa Rica Guides and Expediciones Tropicales will have a representative past the immigration point at the end of the ramp, waiting for you, holding a visible placard with your last name. The representative will not be able to provide assistance with your luggage inside the airport, as you’re the only person permitted to do so.
Once you have exited the airport, our driver will gladly assist you with your luggage and private transportation to your hotel in San Jose. Lodging not included.
Day 1 – Tortuguero 3 Day / 2 Night Package (B/L/D)
We will leave in the morning from San Jose towards Tortuguero. Admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension. Have a delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route. Board a comfortable boat upon arrival at the port and let this extraordinary exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals. Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch as we welcome you to the lodge in Tortuguero. After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival at the lodge.
Day 2 – Tortuguero (B/L/D)
Get ready to hike the Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna.
Day 3 – Tortuguero & Transfer to Arenal Volcano Area (B/L)
We will transport you by boat from the lodge to the dock. Then you will be transferred by shuttle from Guápiles to the Arenal Area.
Overnight in Arenal.
Day 4 -Baldí Hot Springs (B, L,D)
Morning at leisure. Morning optional tours available.
Afternoon visit to Baldí Hot Springs.
The Arenal Volcano, situated in the province of Alajuela, is one the most active volcanoes in the Americas. In 1968 it erupted decimating the small town of Tabacón. After an enchanting day marveling at the awesomeness that is the Arenal Volcano, we will visit the Baldí Hot Springs and bask in the soothing waters whilst being caressed by the cool night air and marveling at the crystal clear night sky as we contemplate our existence. Later that evening, we will treat you to a delicious dinner and at the end of the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal.
Day 5 –Guanacaste (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning shuttle transfer from Arenal to Guanacaste
Balance of the day at leisure, to relax, enjoy the beach or explore the area. Overnight in Guanacaste.
Day 6 – Guanacaste (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Day at leisure, to relax, enjoy the beach or explore the area. Optional tours available, not included. Overnight in Guanacaste.
Day 7 – Guanacaste & San José (B)
