Embassies and Consulates in Costa Rica

  • United Kingdom Embassy (mailing address: Apdo. 815 1007, San José), Centro Colón (11th fl.), San José, Costa Rica (Tel: 2258 2025; fax 2233 9938). Open M-Th 8am-noon and 12:30-4pm, F 8am-10pm.
  • United States Embassy (Apdo 920 1200, San José; US address: US Embassy San José, APO AA 34020), Av. Central, Pavas, Calle 120, San José (Tel: 2519 2000, after-hours 2519 2280). Open M 8-11:30am and 1-3pm, T-F 8-11:30am
